Climate changes due to global
warming
The earth’s climate these days are very
unpredictable. They keep on changing and there is no fixed
pattern of changes in the seasons these days as we had in the
few decades ago. The changes in the climate seen in the recent
years and the predicted climate changes for the next 50 years
or so are considered to be the result of the human behavior,
rather than the natural changes in the atmosphere. Many
environmentalists and scientists have studied and are still
studying about the various climatic changes due to the effect
of global warming. Recent talks, discussions and dialogues
carried out all over the world have all highlighted the evil
effects of global warming and the climatic changes that occur
due to it, and people now believe that the changes in the
climate is due to the emission of gases like carbon dioxide in
the atmosphere.
Even though there are different reasons behind the changing
of the climate, many people believe that our Planet Earth is
going through a period of immense changes. The prime reason for
the planet Earth to be heating up is Global warming. The global
warming has brought about climate changes in all parts of the
world. The most affected areas due to global warming is the
warming of the polar zones which has melted the ice caps and
brought the water from the melted ice to the oceans, causing an
ecological balance and also affecting the lifestyles of
thousands of people. The green house effect is also an
important factor in climate changes as the gases released in
the atmosphere tend to keep the Earth warm. This is considered
to be a major threat to the planet Earth in the near
future.
Scientists from all parts of the world are on the look out
for the various reasons and evidences that are causing the
climate changes the world over. The global warming will also
result in increase in rainfall and hence see a rise in the sea
levels. So in the years to come, flooding will cause a lot of
damage to the planet Earth and the low lying areas all over the
world will be the first to be hit by this climatic change.
Flooding will lead to a serious disease called malaria erupting
in this planet. The symptoms are now itself prevalent.
According to the numerous scientific studies, the surface
temperature of the planet Earth has increased by about one
degree Fahrenheit in the last century. In fact, a vast
amount of change has taken place in the past two decades. It is
believed that the lifestyles of the people all over the world
is one of the main reason for the surface temperature rise of
our planet. Carbon dioxide, nitrous oxide and methane are some
of the common gases that are released into the atmosphere from
the factories and industries all over the world. These gases
tend to trap heat and when they are released into the outer
atmosphere, they tend to trap the heat energy that is normally
reflected by the earth’s natural processes. All these
rise in temperatures will lead to serious drought conditions
all over the world.
There is no doubt in anyone’s mind that all these
gases that are let out into the atmosphere from the modern
revolution factories and industries have caused a lot of
climatic changes in the environment. The main gas that is
causing a lot of temperature variations in this planet is
Carbon dioxide. As more and more gases are released into the
air, the planet will get hotter and hotter. Many plants and
animals and even humans, is finely tuned to live in
temperatures that are presently in the planet. As the
temperature in the planet rises, it will become very very
difficult for the living things to survive in this planet.
The only way to reduce or slow down the
pace of the alarming consequences of global warming and
climatic changes is in the hands of the people living in this
Earth. The people all over this world should stop producing or
letting out of the poisonous gases into the atmosphere. Also
deforestation or felling of the trees has to be stopped
immediately as trees are the only source of oxygen for the
people living in this world. The climatic changes seen in this
world is in relation to the human acts and changes done by them
on this Earth. Hence, all the people will have to pay personal
attention to the various changes that this planet is undergoing
as the world is developing.
It is upto each individual living in this planet to do
something to this problem of global warming which has caused a
lot of changes in the climate all over the world recently. A
few remedies is that people can use low energy lamps, reduce
the use of car or other motorized transportations, planting of
more trees in their locality, conservation of water etc. Also
it is high time that the younger generations are educated in
detail, the harmful effects of the global warming and the
varying climatic patterns seen in the world these days. With a
little effort from all the people living in this planet, it is
possible to protect the natural resources and to reduce the
effects of global warming and make this world this world a
better place to live in.
